Mrs. Pauline Brown
Townsend, 78, formerly of Newfield and Trumansburg (NY) died Tuesday, July
28, 1953, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Hoffman, Palmetto, Florida.
She had been living in Florida for about five years.
She was a former member of the Mystic Chapter 275, Order of
Eastern Star in Newfield.
Besides Mrs. Hoffman, she is survived by another daughter,
Mrs. Hood Hampton of Tampa, Florida; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and
several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Allen Funeral Chapel,
Newfield at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. G.H. Mickelsen, pastor of the
Trumansburg Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
